I found out that my Music final will be open book and I just have to turn it in by next Tuesday byt 6 P.M. Next I got my Argument Paper back in my English class where my Professor doesn't believe in anything and is super tough! And guess what I got an A! I was so excited I almost cried-Seriously! Next class is my speech class and I gave my last speech and I have gotten nothing less than full credit on all of them, including the last one! Then I go to my math class where I thought I wasn't doing all the great ( I can read for days, and write you any paper but I do not do math, adding x and y just doesn't make any sense to me) Anyways my professor tells me that all I have to do it get an 75 on my final and I will have an 88 for my final grade! Are you kidding me a B! Then she tells us that we have a choice on what we want the our final to be on, either probability or loan and mortage formulas! Hello people I have a mortage so I know all about this! So what I am saying is that Tuesday was about the best day I could have had! All I have to do is get my final essay done and study for my math test and as of next Thursday at 12 I will be done with my first semester back! It is such a good feeling knowing that I am almost done and one step closer to having a degree and being able to provide more for my family!

Now I just have to study......

Do the massive amount of laundry that has accumulated......

And Spend Time with My Amazing Boys!
The last is my most favorite!

Miss Grace

Miss Grace Isabelle Riley is finally here!
I can't hardly believe that he is already 7 months old and he is sooo big! He is 20.4 lbs and 29 inches long. He is all over the place crawling and pulling up on everything. But sadly I have to say that we had our first Boo-boo today. He was standing by the window and fell and hit his lip on the window sill. He freaked out, and so did I because it was bleeding!!! I kinda panicked but I remembered that its a good idea to use a cold wet washrag so I ran to the bathroom and got it and he started to calm down which I was very thankful for. It is a little swollen and you can see where it split but he doesn't seem like it is bothering him at all, I think its bothering me more than him, but I guess thats how it goes being a Mama. I just hope that I don't have to have very many of these experiences, I do not like it. But I think having a boy, I am going to have many more brusies, swollen lips, and proabaly stiches throughout the rest of his life, I just hope next time Daddy is here to handle it. I am so excited! On Sunday he was laying on the floor and went after some toy and he actaully crawled! He has been getting really close lately, rocking back and forth on his hands and knees and scooting, so I knew it wouldn't be to far away. But now that it actually happened it is so exciting! He was 6 months 11 days old when he first did it! Is this early for crawling or about right? I don't have any expereince with all this so I am just curious about other people. When did yours start?! And how long after did they walk? I'm not ready for that yet! I have to much baby proofing to do! Let me know and I will try and get a video up of him getting after it! But things are going great. We are so busy with football beign a 7-day a week job ( I do not like this) and me being full time at school and Lil Man is growing soooo fast. He is 6 months old now. We went for his 6 mo. checkup on Monday and he is19 lbs and 7 oz and 28 1/2 inches long, Dr. Rose said he is in the 97 percentile for lenght, adn let me tell you that made Daddy so happy! (Remeber he is wanting a 6'5 NFL sized son!) But over all he is doing great. A couple of weeks ago we had to go to the ER because he was running a 102.7 temp and for Mama that was not cutting it. ER doc said it was a virus but two days later he was still running a fever so I took him to Dr. Rose ( our pedi, whom I love) and she said it was double ear infections! Ya I know the ER doc didn't see it, but oh well the antibiotics worked like a charm and 4 or 5 days later he was as good as new. Lately things have been so incredibly busy. We were in a wedding . Check out his white tux with tails! He was the ring bearer!

I had a baby shower for Cassie last weekend and one this Sunday. She and Jake are getting ready for Miss Grace Isabelle, I cannot wait either! All of us that have kids have boys! There is Drake, Tanner, Trevor and Graham. We keep saying that Grace won't have a chance she will be a tomboy from the start, but from what I know Cassie was a bit of a tomboy herself! I am so excited for her to have this baby, and she is due the day before Rustin's birthday, what is neat about that is that Cassie and Rustin are 7 months apart and Graham and Grace will be 7 months apart. I think its cool! LOL

Next weekend is Fall Break, but I don't think we are even going to go anywhere. We will proabably stay at the house and catch up on sleep, we need it I promise you that! I feel like we always have something to do, but I guess I can say that it is never boring around our house.

Life really is going great, I really never knew that a person could be this blessed.

Graham loves taking a bath!!!

Addiction Update

I finished Twlight in one day, that's pretty impressive considering its 498 pages and I have a 5 month old.Who knew vampires could be so easy to love, it was every bit of great as everyone said. Things have gotten sooooo busy around the Donaldson household. Rustin is back at school teaching the kids a little about History, I am back in school (and wow is it NOT like it was when I was 18) football has started, and Graham is now 5 months old and a whopping 18.5 lbs. So needless to say I have not been doing a good job of keeping up with my blog. Not to many important things have happened just have something to do just about everyday! Things are going great even though some times I forget what day it is because they are all running together. Hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend. It's really exciting for me because I think birthday's are a person's very own holiday! Maybe a little childish but oh well! Part of the reason I still make a big deal out of birthday's is because when I was little my family didn't make a big deal out of it, in the words of my Grandmother , " Its just another day, just happens to be when you where born." So ever since I have been old enough to have a birthday party on my own I have! Now that I have Graham birthdays will be a HUGE deal! I want him to know that it is not just another day, it is the day the Good Lord blessed this world with him! This past year has been amazing, if you would have told me 5 years ago that on my 24th birthday I would have a baby and a husband I would have told you that you were crazy. But look at how fast things can change! This has truly been the best year of my life and I know that this will be the best birthday because I have an amazing family to spend it with!

This year will be a little different because we are going to Covington tonight to visit family and get ready for Graham's baby dedication on Sunday. It will be a very important day for myself and for our family. If ya don't know alot about dedications it is a short little ceremony where Rustin and I commit to rasing Graham with the Lord as his main focus! Then our families join us and pledge to help us with the task. Then the congragation joins in with a prayer of blessing and music. I am so happy to be doing this for Graham. It makes it even more special because Rustin's Dad who is the minster will be doing the deidcation! Then after we are having a huge lunch for all of our friends and family! I'm a little stressed about getting everything taken care of but I know I will get it all done! A little trivia for ya I found I was pregnant with Graham on the 19th of July, one year to the day that we are doing his dedication. Isn't that amazing!? Have a great weekend- mine starts right now!

My birthday last year!

Who knew we had a little bundle on the way.....We sure didn't :)

Summer Lovin

Our summer is quickly fading away but it has been a great one so far! Going back to last Saturday we had a wedding to go to and it was actually very painless lol! It was fun to get out adn have a little adult time without Graham even though on our way back to Oklahoma City from Hydro, Rustin and I both made a comment about how we missed him. Rustin even said he kept looking in the back seat to check on him because he was so used to him being there. So sweet.

My friend Lyndie just bought the house across the street from me and they have been doing a bunch of work on it before they move in. So Monday I helped tear up a floor, move furniture, and paint celings. Oh my goodness I was soooooo sore and tired on Tuesday but we had more work to do then. So all week we have been working on the house and running around like crazy people. It has been fun but alot of hard work.

This weekend we are going to Norman to watch Rustin's little sister in the All State Softball game, which I am so excited to go too! It is a pretty big honor and I know she is really excited. Then it is on to Covington for Father's Day. Its always a little sad for me because my Papa (who raised me) passed away when I was a junior in high school, but I love Rustin's Dad to death so its not quite the same but he is a great subsitute. On a lighter note it will be Rustin's first Father's Day and I am really excited. I need to think of some kind of gift from Graham. Any ideas? So ya things are crazy and busy around here but I am loving every minute of it!

Check out my sweet baby boy and his Daddy!

He Did It!

So yesterday when I posted I mentioned that I thought Graham would roll over soon, and guess what he did. Proabaly at the very moment I was writing about it! It was a very big day for my little man! When Rustin got home he didn't really believe me so at 3:35 this morning when he had rolled over and woken himself up I made sure to get Daddy and let him see for his own eyes how big his little man has gotten. Graham was all smiles like he knew what he had just done. I'm so proud of him! Now I just want to see him do it with my own eyes. And have the camera ready too!

We have a busy weekend ahead. Rustin is in a wedding in Hydro, if you don't know where that is ( I didn't) its way out by Weatherford. Not looking forward to the drive. We are not taking G with us, it would wreck the somewhat of a schedule we have so he is staying the afternoon and evening with his Dede. I am hoping that the wedding doesn't take forever, I'm horrible aren't I?! Well I have to go start supper... Back to duty! :)

Catching Up

I was doing so good at keeping up with my blog then something happened! I don't have a clue what it was but I am wayyyy behind. So this is my catch up!

Graham is two months old now, I cannot hardly believe it. He is getting so big and handsome. I took him to his 2 month appointment last Monday and he weighed 13 lbs and was 24 and 1/2 inches long. I've got a long baby! He is already wearing some 3-6 month clothes. GAH! They grow so stinking fast. But I am not complaining. When we went to the doctor he had to get his first set of shots and can I just say that it was awful. I had to help hold him down and when the first one went in he started crying so hard he turned purple and not to mention I was by myself because Hubby had to work so he couldn't come with me. So then I have a screaming baby and I am trying to carry the car seat, diaper bag, and Graham out into the lobby and of course everyone was looking at me like "What did she do to that poor baby?!" I swear I wanted a sign to hang around my neck that said, " He got shots, I don't beat my child" But we sat down and he got fed and calmed down enough for me to put him in the carseat and come home. He did run a little bit of a fever for two days so that wasn't good either. But he has fully recovered and I made the descion that I would never go to an appointment for shots without reinforcements!

Let's see what else is been going on, oh yes! He is sleeping through the night and not waking up until 7 or 8! It is so amazing to get a full nights sleep. He is also really close to rolling over. Every time he wakes up and I go in his room to get him he is almost got it. So it won't be to much longer.

It has been a really busy few weeks. We had Rustin's sisters high school graduation, then Memorial Day, then Hubby had a bacholeor party, and this weekend we have 2 weddings! But I like being busy and having tons to do. I will leave ya'll with a bunch of pictures from the last few weeks!

Mother's Day

This was my first Mother's Day and I do not think it could have been any better. First because I got to spend it with my amazing family, including my wonderful husband, who I swear is a gift from God. He is amazing as a father and husband. I count my lucky stars every day for him. Also I got to spend it with my newest handsome man, Graham. Rustin got me a singing card which was very cute and I could tell he put some thought into. Graham got me something too. I know you are thinking how can a 6 week old get me something, well he gave me a smile! Yes the first real ( not gas) smile!. He even laughed. It was the greatest Mother's Day gift ever. I'm not sure it will ever be topped. I haven't been able to get him smiling on camera yet ( but its not for lack of trying) but as soon as I do I will post! Promise!!!

Heartsick....

Being a new mom and not really having any close friends that have babies I have decided that I was not fully prepared for the feelings I would have when my baby got sick. Graham has been stopped up the last few days and I assumed it was the weather because I get like that when it rains a bunch, but Monday night and into Tuesday morning it was alot worse you could tell he was struggling. So I called the Dr. she said to go ahead and bring him in with him being so young that anything I might be worried about should be looked at just in case. Again with me being a new mom and I had no idea if I was making a big deal out of nothing or if something was really wrong, needless to say I was a bit emotional yesterday. So we get to the Dr. whom I love by the way, she is so amazing, and she tells us he has an ear infection and a bit of a cold. Okay- I can handle that nothing to serious, gave him some antibiotics and sent us on our way. After running errands and then heading home, he wasjust fussier that ever before. So we decide to go ahead and give him the medicine, the stuff was really thick and he had an issue getting it down. No sooner than I give it to him he throws up and I mean projectile vomit. He looked so wiped out after that. I had never taken care of a kid throwing up and I really had no idea what to do. So I said put him in the bathtub. That seemed to help calm him down and get him a little more relaxed which made me not feel quite as bad. He just wanted to be held which I was completly fine with. You could tell that he did not feel good at all. But thankfully he slept pretty good last night and after I talked to the Dr. again this morning and gave him the medicine again ( this time it stayed down) he is a lot less fussy and is sleeping right now. I'm telling you my heart just aches because I feel like I can't do anything for him. I do not like this feeling at all. I can say now I know what my mother meant when she told me when I was little and sick that I wouldn't know heartache until my own baby was sick. So please if ya think about it say a little prayer for my lil man.

Time is Flying By

I can't believe that it has alreadt been a month since Graham was born, it really blows my mind how fast the time has gone by. It almost makes me want to cry because he is already getting bigger and changing so much. Don't get me wrong I am glad of the 4 hours he is sleeping at a time now and that he is healthy and growing but I can just see him turning 18! LOL I know I know that's a bit extreme but you other Mama's out there you know what I mean. Went to Covington and saw some family and lots of friends.Rustin's dad got to spend some time with Graham and I really think he is totally in love with his first grandson or as he likes to call him his first "Grahamson" haha It's so cute. The rain didn't seem to hamper any of our plans so that was good. Hopefully the weather will be a little nicer though this week so I can take Lil G out for a walk. I hope everyone is having a great Monday!

Lil G Update

Yesterday was Graham's 2 week appointment and guess what my boy is already 10 pounds and 12 ounces. He has gained a full 2 pounds since he was born. If he keeps this up my child will be a huge! His Daddy would be okay with that though because the first question he asked when we got home was how much he had grown ( in length) I said another 3/4 of and inch. So now he is 22 3/4, Rustin was so excited by that news. He wants Graham to be 6'5 so he can play college football. Yes- my wonderful husband already has life plans for our 3 week old baby. Oh- wow!!

Anyways!!!! I think we are going to actually get a little adult time this weekend, I have been stuck at home ( not that I mind being with Lil G at all) and we haven't got to show him off to our friends so we are thinking that we are going to the City this weekend have dinner with friends and then maybe ( if I can he he) let Lil G stay at his Dede 's house for a few hours while we go out with friends. I dunno if this will all happen or not but I am a bit excited about the idea!

Oh had Graham's newborn pictures taken this past weekend ( thanks so much to Becky) and they turned out soooo great! A goodf riend of mine who does newborn pictures is the one who took them and I think they are going to be soo good! We took them outside and the Myriad Gardens in OKC. Well Lil G did so good! He had his eyes open and was really alert the whole time so she got a ton of good shots ( I haven't seen them yet but I am sure she did lol) Anyways Rustin has said a couple times that Lil G has flipped him off while he was feeding him or changing him I think he's crazy but Becky got a picture of him doing it lol! So I guess I need to have a talk with my 3 week old about giving people the bird! It seems so crazy to me that 2 weeks has already gone by since he was born, its been a very different 2 weeks than I thought it would be. I think I had this idea in my mind that it would be alot easier than it really is. Babies are a lot of work! LOL Not that I am complaining because I am so in love with him its not even funny its just that it is different than what I thought it would be. I was telling a friend of mine that its like he needs and needs and doesn't give anything back, and she said (she is the mother of a 14 month old) that when he can give me a smile and actually know he is smiling (not gas) it will all change. I think that is proabaly right. I can't hardly wait for that moment, and hopefully it won't be to long.

On a lighter note Rustin is an amazing father. He hadn't had any experience with babies but he does such a good job with Graham. When he comes home from work he usually takes over with holding him and changing him and all those fun things that I get to do all day. Its nice to have a little break but it is even nicer to watch Rustin with Graham. Its something to see!

Little G is waking up and needing some Mama time so hope you all have a great Thursday!

He is here!

I can proudly say that I am now a mom! It's still a bit strange saying that but I love the sound of it! So as you all know I was about to pull all my hair out being overdue with Graham. Well on April 1st at 1:30 AM I woke up with some weird pain in my stomach and I thought maybe this was it. I got up and went and layed on the couch to be more comfortable. I started timing them and after a couple of hours at anywhere from 6-8 minutes apart I woke Rustin up and said that I thought we might have an April Fools Baby, him being still asleep was like "okay" and then he asked why I thought that and I said because I had been having contractions for about 2 hours. So needless to say he wakes up and we start timing them by 5:30 they have been 4-5 mniutes apart for about an hour and half. I call the hospital and they said to come in and get checked. We load up in the car. (All the bags had been in the car for a week lol) And make the 35 minutes drive to Shawnee. We got to the hopsital and get up to L&D I get all hooked up and the nurses check me and I am at a 3, which is not active labor, but they would keep me for an hour and check then to see if anything else was happening. So during this hour I keep having contractions and then I feel like my water breaks, I wasn't sure because there was no huge gush or anything. So I tell the nurses she checks and sure enough my water has broke and we are going to have a baby today! Woo-Hoo! This happened around 7:45 AM. Fast forward to 10:30 AM I get my epidural ( those things are amazing and I thank God for it) Fast forward again to 8:30 PM, yes PM! They say I am a 10 and ready to push, alright let's get this baby out! I pushed for 3 hours and 7 minutes. It was the most tiring and intense thing I have ever done. I can't even begin to tell you how it feels its just crazy. Anyways Dr. Alsup says he is face up and thats why he isn't coming out, she offers to use forceps to turn him I agree she turns him but it didn't work he turned back. So I am nearing the end of my rope by now. I started crying and was about to lose all focus when she says she can guide him out with forceps and it will all be over. Thinking it wouldn't hurt because of the Epi I agree. Boy was I wrong. It was excuricating. By that point they said I had to push as hard as I could because his heart rate was dropping and he had to come out. So after 22 hours of labor with Rustin and my best friend Cassie by my side I gave it all I had and at 11:17 PM Graham Thomas Donaldson was born. It was the most incredible moment of my life. I think it was pretty amazing for Rustin to because we both just started crying. He was 8lbs and 12 oz and 21 inches long and had a full head of dark brown hair. It has been 8 days and I'm still trying to get everything figure out but he is doing great and we couldn't be happier.

Still Waiting....

Yes! I am officially overdue. Not to thrilled. But have decided to stop worrying and let the Big Man Upstairs do his thing ;)
Had a pretty good weekend though. Rustin was in the wedding of one of his good friends from college. He looked so handsome! Spent some time with the family, which was nice. But no baby. I did get some really great news last night though, my dearest and best friend Cassie is pregnant and due on Rustin's birthday. I am soooo excited for her and Jake, I think it is such an amazing thing. I just can't wait to hold my baby so I know the even more amazing feeling of holding my child and seeing his gorgeous face! Other than that it was a pretty low key weekend. I did have contractions for like 2 hours last night and they where coming every 7-8 minutes but only lasted about 30 seconds then they tapered off, and nothing so far today but keep your fingers crossed that Graham will be making his arrival very soon!

No Change..

Went to the doctor today and wouldn't know my appointment is tomorrow?! I am losing my mind. No doubt about it. I have heard of people saying that I would get pregnancy brain and be forgetful and clumsy. Well they where right! I am not the type of person who gets an appointment wrong or forgets but I guess everyone slips once in a while! But anyways..... Since I live 35 minutes away from the clinic I asked if I could go ahead and see the doctor and after some reservation from the scheduling lady they finally let me. It wasn't like I was asking to see God or anything I mean come on people. Go up to the OB/GYN floor and guess what there isn't a single person in the waiting room. You have got to be kidding me, they acted like I was really going to be imposing on the doctor's day, but that was not the case at all. Got in saw the doctor and got checked. For those of you who have had the pleasure of being "checked" you know that it is not fun at all. Then I have this uber helpful (or really annoying) nurse standing by my head telling me to just breathe and relax. NO KIDDIN! I'm trying here lady! I know I know its her job to remind me of those things but geez I was just not having it. After that Doc tells me no change. UGH! I am so bummed. I wanna have this baby and I would like to have him soon! Like Yesterday! So he tells me I have another appointment for next Wednesday and they will do a NST( Non Stress Test) to check on fluid levels, size of the baby, blah blah blah. All I heard was that I will still be pregnant and its going to not be fun. My due date it on Saturday so I will be at a total loss for words if I am still prego on Sunday! (Which I proabaly will be because thats my luck) Wish me luck that Graham decides he doesn't like it in there anymore and is ready to come on out and meet the world.......

39 Weeks and Counting......

I really like the fact that its Spring Break and I have got to spend a lot of time with my wonderful Hubby but I can't even begin to tell you how over being pregnant I am. It has gotten worse over the week ( I wanted to have Graham this week because it is Spring Break and Rustin could be home with us for a full week). No such luck though. I haven't even had Braxton Hicks contraction nothing at all to make me think this show is about to begin. I know I know I should savor these last few days of being childless but that is not helping this feeling I have at all. I know again that I shouldn't be complaining but ugh!!! I am one of the most impatient people you will ever know so this waiting with really nothing to do is about to make me pull out my hair. Even Rustin told me I was acting differently today. He said I seem kind of depressed which is not my nature by any means. I am usually up beat and happy. But I really am in a funk. Today has been the worst, I think it is because Spring Break is coming to an end, Rustin will have to go back to school and lots of baseball games this week so I am just sad knowing he won't be able to spend as much time with at home when Graham is born. I need to get out of the house, that might help. Might go meet Cass and Jake in the city tomorrow for some food and some fun ( might lift my spirits) Sorry this has been a bit of a rant and a lil on the depressing side. No worries once Graham is born I promise to have lots of happy and hopefully uplifiting posts. Have a great night and please say a little prayer that he comes soon, for my sake :)

Just Thinking...

Last night was a bit rough for me, not much sleep and being plain uncomfortable which makes me even more ready for Graham to come on out and meet the world. But today as I am ina bit of a slump( i.e. tired- cranky- sad- happy- and just plain emotional) I got to thinking about how much my life has changed just in the last year. In little over a year I should say I got engaged, got married, bought a house, got preganant, moved to a whole new place and now am about to have a baby. What a difference a year can make?! Not all the things that have happened have been great but for the most part God has blessed me beyond belief. I pray that the blessings just keep on coming my way with a healthy son.
I was reading Miss Priss and she was talking about how her little girl is about to turn 1 and it is got her for a loop. It got me thinking about how much my life will change after Graham is here and that makes me sad and happy on another level. Don't ya just love pregnancy hormones, its great for your hair but a diaster on your mind and heart! I just keeping thinking to myself that the things that are happening in my life are all apart of a bigger plan that The Man Upstairs has layed out for me and He knows what He is doing. So the plan is to just sit back, relax and do my best to just enjoy what tomorrow brings....

36 Weeks and 5 Days

So here I am just a few days from being full term and I cannot wait! I want to see Graham so bad! But I know he could be here any time but it could be a few more weeks too! So we are just playing the waiting game! I feel like I am as big as a house but Hubby keeps reminding me that's its a good thing (HA) but he tries to make me feel better which I appreciate! I finally got his room done so here is the newest picture of my belly and a few of his room! Geez when people told me that it would go by really fast I thought they where crazy but now as I am realizing that I only have about 8 weeks left with this it seems that all those people where right. The weather down here has been crazy about 5 inches of ice snow and sleet covered the ground up until today. It was nice to get to spend 3 days with Rustin since school was canceled, but he left this morning for Dallas ( Boo!) But its alright he shouldn't be changed to be quite yet lol! Like I said before I do have 8 weeks left, even though the doctors don't think I will go that long. In all realaity it will be like 5 weeks, which makes it that much crazier! I know I am jumping around alot today but that it how my mind is working. I have to type what I think while I think it or else I will forget it! haha I hear that is also a symptom of pregnancy. But on a happy note tomorrow is the first of my 3 baby showers! I am sooo excited to see all of my friends and to get some much needed baby gear! I know someone got our bedding ( I think it was Rustin's mom, she is a lifesaver if she did) So I am hoping that when I get home tomorrow night I will be putting the finishing touches on Graham's room. I would be so excited, well more so than I am now if I do end up getting it tomorrow. Anyways I suppose I am rambled on enough. I'll leave it with a pic of me at 31 Weeks!

Big News

So once again I am behind in the blogging world. Damn! I wish I could stay with this! But anyways I am back and have the pics of the 3-D U/S It was so freakin cool! He was measuring a week and 3 days further along than my dates, so I dunno! Then on the 19th I went to the doctor for my once every two week appointments and guess what.. Now I am measuring 3 weeks ahead! Are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 Weeks that would put my due date at March 9th, not the 28th. I am a bit over whelmed by this news but I am so excited I have three showers in the next month the first being this coming Saturday. I am so excited about seeing my girlies and getting some baby gear! haha But bad news Hubby is going to be in Dallas for a coaching clinic all weekend.. so Boo to that! Also ona happier note, my bestest friend Cassie is back from Conneticut! I am so happy now both of the people I want to be with me when Graham is born will be here. So I am happy and overwhelmed and excited and nervous all at the same time... Oh it's a crazy life I live.
That's my beautiful baby boy's face... Which I think means get your house and surroundings ready for the baby. So with the last few days of the Hubby's break about to be over I kicked it into over drive. I took down all the Christmas stuff, even though it made me sad, I love Christmas! Then began cleaning out closets.I have realized that I HATE cleaning out closets. It's not fun and I don't want to do it but I have this over whelming since that I need to do it. You ever get that way?! It's seriously one of the weirdest things ever, but I know once I get it all done I will feel a ton better knowing that when Graham comes I will be organized and ready to take on whatever he throws at me! But anyways I am super tired now, but I only have a few more boxes to send to the attic and some things to but away and I will be about ready to finish nesting. It is very crazy though that in less that 12 weeks he will be here. AHHH! The anticipation is about to kill me. I have to go Monday for the Glucose test to make sure I don't have Gestational Dibaetes. I think I will be alright but they have to check everyone. I am off to finish up the last little bit of this insanity. Have a fabalous night!

New Years Resolutions

So I have not a done a good job at staying up to date with this blog thing and that is going to change! I figured what better time then the new year. So I am going to try very hard to stay caught up, because this is going to be a very memorable year and I want to remember it in all its glory!

We had a great holiday season. Spent alot of time with the family, well all the families to be accurate! I love the holidays and what they mean and with being pregnant it just makes everything that much more special. I think the New Year is going to be a wonderful time for my family. I got to see one of my best friends who is a traveling nurse over Christmas and that was one of the highlights because I love Jake and Cass so much! We got a few things for the baby which I was really excited for because I don't have to many things yet.

I am now offically in my 3rd trimester and I am sooooo excited! Graham Thomas will be here in no time and he is getting so big . My doctor thinks he will be a big baby and that we won't make it all the way to my due date which is March 28th! Which is fine with me as long as he is healthy and happy. Hubby and I are so happy and excited that he will be here very shortly. Now I just have to get all the nursery things together and ready for him. My nesting intinct has already kicked in. I am trying to get organized and prepared. But from what I hear its hard to really prepare for a baby! But I'm trying at least.

I hope that everyone had a great holiday and has a fabalous 2009!!!!!!

18 Weeks and Counting

So last night the Hubby and I where watching TV and I got up to get some cereal, because that's my nightly ritual these days and he looks at me and says" WOW- Your belly is really getting big!" I started laughing because it was very out of nowhere and it was like it just occured to him that my widening waist was more than over eating! So here I am 18 weeks and getting bigger every day. It is so strange to me still that there is a little boy inside of me and he is going to be here in just a few months. So strange. For you lucky ones that are out there when does it sink it? Or does it seem strange until you see the little buddle of joy? Just curious I am kind of out here on my own. None of my friends have children so I am taking this little adventure all on my own, so its a little like treading in unknown water. But everything is going to be fine I have no doubt. Also I am super excited because I finally talked the Hubby into taking pics for a Christmas card. I figured when would there be a better time we are newleyweds and our first baby is on the way, so YAY! Mind you this is a big feat because he does not like taking pictures- I love it, both behind the camera and in front lol! If you ever saw my house you would understand! So I am hoping I can find something to wear that looks half way cute and let Shannon do her magic! But I suppose I should be doing something right now a little more productive then blogging ( though I love it) So off I go to do some dishes! Have a fabalous day!

It's a ....

BOY!!!!!!!!! I went in on Wednesday to find out what this things growing inside of me was and its a little boy! I am so happy and of course my football coach of a husband is completley beside himself. But I am so happy and can't wait to welcome our sweet baby boy into the world on March 25th 2009 ( or around then anyways)!

Our little man saying hello to the world!

These are of him sucking his thumb.... ah how cute!

Car Shopping Today!

Yup we are going car shopping today! The Hubby and I decided we are going to need a little more room for when the baby comes so today is the day! I am super excited, but a little nervous about the whole thing. Halloween!!!!!! I am so excited. Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays! Its just so much fun to dress up! This is posing a bit of a challenge. Most the women costumes are "Sexy" this or "Little" that and I will be almost five months pregnant on Halloween so needless to say I won't be able to dress like I typically would. So I started searching for a costume yesterday and found a few that I liked. The Fairy is a bit girly for me but I still think that it is cute. The pirate is way more me but I just can't decide. If I could talk my amazing Hubby into deckin himself out in yellow-gold running shorts I would love to go as Juno and Paulie. I absolutely love this movie and if you have not seen it please do, it is so funny. I could watch it over and over if I had the time. Sorry! I am getting off track. The issue at hand is deciding on a costume, I am very picky about this kind of stuff and I'm just not sure if I like these enough. I am posting the pics pf the three I like the most and would love any input you have. I might be picky but I am also indecisive. If that even makes sense! LOL!

Option # 1- The FairyOption # 2 A Pirate

And this might be my favorite if I can talk the Hubby into these short shorts! I know very general statement but a heartfelt one. Since RD and I have lived out here and by out here I mean and hour and twenty minutes from our closest friends its been a bit hard on me. One thing I like to pride myself on is treating my friends like family, since I don't have much family it has always seemed right to me. One of my dearest, who is the furthest away, friends Cassie Jo is all the way down in Corpus Cristi with her wonderful hubby Jake. She is a traveling nurse and is out on assignment. I miss them terribly. Cas was my right hand lady for all of the wedding prep and day of festivities, she is just truly amazing. My Autumn is all up in Tulsa and Sara Bear is in Edmond, not to mention Ashley and Alyssa and Kym. Geez! I have never been this far away from my ladies before and I think the prego hormones are starting to get the best of me. I know distance shouldn't matter when it comes to your relationships but it is hard not being able to see my dearest and best friends whenever I want. I am very thankful to be blessed with people this wonderful in my life and I pray for them all when I say my prayers. I think maybe it may be time for a few phone calls, bridge the gap a bit. I'm off to call my best friends, you should to, just to say hi!

"When I find myself fading, I close my eyes and realize my friends are my energy."

Here are all my ladies after my Bachorlette Party!

Cassie Jo and I before her birthday party

Rachel, Cassie, and I at her birthday party!

My buddy who always went to bat for me! I think it is an interesting view into their lives, very open and candid which I think is very brave. So I decided it was time for me to come out of the closet so to speak and let people have a little peak into my life. Now I must warn there will not be lots of exciting things, because frankly I don't have tons going on, but I am okay with that. My life was very fast paced since I was 18 and moved out on my own and to be honest it is quite nice to just relax with the husband and not worry about the world that is going on outside my doorstep. Now my days consist of working as a head start teacher ( so exciting let me tell you) and trying to get a hang of this wife thing! Also I suppose the one exciting thing that is going on is the bun in the oven! So I am sure on Dr. Appt days there will be blogs full of exlcamation marks and captiol letters, so the feeling of excitment will radiate off the computer screen and into your life. Well as I enter into this new game of letting you know a little about me and my daily life I hope that maybe something I say will strike you and make you smile.

"In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different."
